How much does solar panel installation cost in Malaysia?

Solar panel installation costs in Malaysia typically range from RM15,000 to RM35,000 for residential systems (4kWp to 12kWp), depending on system size, panel brand, and roof type. With the SuRIA Home rebate of up to RM3,000 and monthly electricity savings, most homeowners see full ROI within 5-7 years.

What is the SuRIA Home rebate?

The SuRIA Home rebate is a Malaysian government initiative that provides homeowners with a rebate of up to RM3,000 when installing rooftop solar panel systems. Amiya Energy assists with the full application process as part of our installation service.

What is the difference between Solar ATAP and SELCO?

Solar ATAP allows homeowners and SMEs to offset their electricity bills by exporting excess solar energy to the grid. SELCO (Self-Consumption) is designed for large industries and factories that consume all generated solar energy on-site with zero export. Amiya Energy helps you choose the right scheme based on your energy profile.

Is Amiya Energy SEDA certified?

Yes, Amiya Energy's team consists of SEDA-certified personnel and experienced engineers. We strictly follow all SEDA Malaysia guidelines and occupational safety standards for every solar installation project.

How long does solar panel installation take?

A typical residential solar installation by Amiya Energy takes 1-3 days, depending on system size and roof complexity. The full process from energy audit to power-on usually takes 4-6 weeks, including permit approvals and grid connection.
